The poster "Chamonix-Mont-Blanc" was created by Francisco Nicolas Tamagno and printed by Imprimerie Emile Pécaud & Cie. Francisco Nicolas Tamagno, also known as Nicolas Tamagno, was an Italian artist and poster designer active in France between 1880 and 1914. He was known for his high-quality graphic work, particularly during his time at the Victor Camis printing house in Paris where he produced over a hundred posters. The "Chamonix-Mont-Blanc" poster, dating around 1900, is one of his works that showcases his skill in lithography and his contribution to the Art Nouveau style, which was prominent during that era. This specific poster was sold at auctions and is noted for its colorful and detailed depiction of the Chamonix Mont-Blanc region, promoting it as a destination for winter sports including skiing, luge, skating, and bobsleigh. I have taken a clipping from this poster featuring the ski-jumping couple for use in the product design.
