Refund policy
We stand behind every mug we produce. If something is not right, we make it right — swiftly and without compromise.
Important: Print-on-Demand Production
Every Tazzarte mug is produced exclusively for you at the time of ordering. Because each piece is a unique, made-to-order item, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind once production has begun.
This applies to all standard and personalised mugs. We ask you to review your order carefully — including size, design, and (for personalised mugs) any text or custom content — before completing your purchase.
Defective or Damaged Items
If your mug arrives damaged, defective, or with a production error, our Masterpiece Guarantee applies:
- Contact us within 30 days of delivery at shop@tazzarte.com
- Include a photo clearly showing the damage or defect
- We will send a free replacement — no return shipment required
- If a replacement is not possible, we will issue a full refund
We do not require you to return defective items. A clear photo is sufficient for us to process your claim.
Wrong Item Received
If you receive a different product than the one you ordered, please contact us within 30 days of delivery with a photo of the item received. We will arrange the correct item at no additional cost.
Personalised Mugs
Personalised mugs are produced to your exact specifications and cannot be returned or refunded for errors in the personalised content — such as typos, incorrect dates, or layout choices made during the design process. Please use the 3D Preview tool to verify your design before checkout.
If your personalised mug arrives with a production defect (not caused by your design input), the Masterpiece Guarantee applies in full.
Your Statutory Rights (EU & UK)
Customers in the European Union and the United Kingdom have statutory consumer rights that apply regardless of this policy:
- Right to a remedy: If a product is not as described, defective, or does not conform to the contract, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under EU Directive 2019/771 and the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- Right of withdrawal: Under EU and UK consumer law, you have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days of receiving your order. However, this right does not apply to goods that are made to a consumer's specifications or clearly personalised — which includes all Tazzarte print-on-demand mugs produced to order.
- 2-year guarantee: Gelato products carry a 2-year manufacturer guarantee in accordance with EU consumer sales law.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights.
Refund Processing
Where a refund is agreed, it will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take additional time to appear on your statement.
