Heidi 200 – Anniversary Edition 2027

On 12 June 2027 Johanna Spyri, the author of Heidi, would have turned two hundred. For the anniversary we have taken six chapter vignettes that Jessie Willcox Smith drew for the 1922 American edition of the book and put each on a fine porcelain mug.

Digitally restored from the 1922 edition: the halftone screen of the printed page is gone, and Smith’s pen lines and soft tints read cleanly on white porcelain.
